    Dave Lettieri, Owner

Over the years, many "consumer oriented" bicycle stores have appeared in Santa Barbara. Yet it wasn't until 1997, when Dave Lettieri opened FasTrack Bicycles, that serious road cyclists found a shop that could match their unique passion and address their specialized needs.

Since 1976, Dave Lettieri has been in the sport and business of cycling. So, with a background in building, repairing and racing bikes that is unmatched in this community, Lettieri set out to build a traditional bike shop that catered to both seasoned and aspiring road bike enthusiasts along with Mountain, Hybrid, Commuter, and Triathlon riders.

Dave has an appreciation of the needs and concerns of cycling enthusiasts, whether they are riding for fun, exercise, commuting, or racing.  Dave still rides over 10,000 miles a year as he tests the latest equipment available. He has personally competing in over 1,000 races. Dave has raced in track, road, time trial, mountain bike, and even BMX.

From 1992-96, Dave managed the Chevrolet - L.A. Sheriff, Professional Cycling team, winning prestigious cycling events from National road and Track championships, to the team competition of the Tour DuPont.

In 2000, Dave served as Lance Armstrong personal mechanic during the 87th Tour De France. Dave's strong reputation and contacts within the international cycling community makes him unique in the bicycle industry.

After over 15 years of serving the needs of the Santa Barbara’s cycling community and the world, Fastrack Bicycles has a new look.  Dave Lettieri can provide products and service to all cycling enthusiasts. Whether you ride for recreation, touring, exercise, or racing, Fastrack can insure the optimum in your cycling experience. Dave, together with his associate Luke Johnston, are guiding their customers through the myriad of new products and technologies to get the most out of your ride.

This freshening of the Fastrack facilities will enable Dave and Luke, not only continue their attention to the customer’s needs, but will permit them to provide even more efficient  service at the same fair prices. The overall Fastrack experience will certainly be more enhanced with better access and organization to the latest in cycling products. Modern lighting and fixtures will also improve a shopper’s experience.

Dave hopes to see his loyal customers soon to avail them of the new “look.” Be assured that the same excellent service and attention, fair pricing, and the warm “bike shop atmosphere” will be there. New customers will find out what they have been missing by not shopping at one of the most unique bike shops in the country.

Luke Johnston, Dave's Right Hand Man

If you’ve been to Fastrack you know Luke, always ready to give all the “options” of the latest and greatest bike products. With almost ten years of working at Fastrack, Luke always has a witty remark to share with you. Unlike Dave, Luke has never entered a race, he just enjoys riding mountain and road bikes. He’s here to give you the “non-racer” perspective, always with a sense of humor. Stop by to see Luke today!
