    Over the years, many "consumer oriented" bicycle stores have appeared in Santa Barbara. Yet it wasn't until 1997, when Dave and Trixie Lettieri opened FasTrack Bicycles, that serious road cyclists found a shop that could match their unique passion and address their specialized needs. So, with a background in building, repairing and racing road bikes that is unmatched in this community, the Lettieris' set out to build a traditional bike shop that catered to both seasoned and aspiring road bike enthusiasts.

The result? A bicycle aficionado's dream, where the world's finest cycling products are comfortably arrayed in a small European style shop. FasTrack specializes in quality  bikes ranging from commuting to racing.

We focus on ROAD bikes.  We stock over 100 top road bikes and framesets. From $700 entry level to the $14,000 +custom road bike, FasTrack can set up the bike of your dreams.

Yes we do sell mountain bikes. Since the variety of terrain dictates which mtn bike is best, we order most of these bikes as needed.  We have several bikes to show from Trek Fuel EX to the Trek Session 88 DH bike and IBIS Mojo.

Sorry we do not stock kids bikes, used, consignment bikes, or running shoes....

In July 2000, Dave had the privilege of working at the 87th Tour De France.  Dave served as Lance Armstrong's mechanic . Dave was responsible for Lance's six Trek bikes.

Our Racing Heritage

Since 1976, Dave Lettieri has been passionately involved in both the sport and business of bicycling. He has an insider's appreciation of the needs and concerns of cycling enthusiasts, having personally competed in over 1,000 races. Earning a Pan-Am Gold medal (1987) and eight National Championship Gold Medals, (1979, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1988)  he was named to three World championship teams  '85 ind pursuit, team pursuit, '86 Team Pursuit , '87 Kilometer, Team Pursuit, the Goodwill Games: Points Race, Team Pursuit , and the 1988 Olympic Team Pursuit Team.

Currently Dave is the So California State Points Race Champion  for the 45+ crowd.

From 1992-96, Dave managed the elite Chevrolet-L.A. Sheriff professional team that won prestigious cycling events, from Professional National road and track championships to the team competition of the Tour DuPont. Dave still rides competitively which give him the chance to test all the latest equipment for the benefit of his customers.  Dave is one of the few riders who have raced in track, road, time trial, mountain bike, and even BMX. 

Because of Dave's strong reputation and contacts within the international cycling community--and because Santa Barbara is such a challenging and inviting training venue--it is not uncommon to see both veteran and fast-rising cycling stars drop by to visit the Lettieri's FasTrack.
